We have licensed psychologists who are able to perform testing to confirm or rule out an Autism diagnosis on the spectrum. They are also able to conduct autism testing required for applying for (or continuation of) services for clients of Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
Autism-specific assessments include the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R).
These assessments are often required by service coordinators at the county board of developmental disabilities when children (even those who have previously received an Autism diagnosis somewhere on the autism spectrum) turn six and 16 years of age.
In addition to Autism diagnosis in Columbus and Autism testing, we are also able to administer assessments of intellectual ability (IQ tests) such as the Differential Ability Scales and the Stanford-Binet.
We also offers assessments of academic achievement, such as the Wechsler Individual Achievement Test and the Woodcock-Johnson Tests of Achievement.
The latter assessments may be used for parents who suspect their child has a learning disability in reading, writing, or mathematics.
Assessments of adaptive behavior (life skills i.e., what an individual can do independently) and various rating scales used for confirming or ruling Autism diagnosis and other diagnoses such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) are also available.
To schedule an appointment, call Dr. Devlin at Call + 614-602-6479 . Assessments - including Autism diagnosis testing -may be covered by some private health insurances or use funding approved by service coordinators at Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
